Generalized Thermoelastic Interactions in an Infinite Viscothermoelastic Medium under the Nonlocal Thermoelastic Model

The wave propagation in viscothermoelastic materials is discussed the present work using nonlocal thermoelasticity model. This model was created Lord and Shulman generalized thermoelastic due to consequences of delay times formulations heat conduction motion equations. Eringen’s theory continuum. linear Kelvin–Voigt viscoelasticity explains viscoelastic properties isotropic material. analytical solutions for displacement, temperature, thermal stress distributions are obtained by eigenvalues approach with integral transforms Laplace transform techniques. field functions, namely stress, have been graphically depicted local assess quality various outcomes interest. results displayed illustrate effects viscoelasticity. Comparisons made without relaxation time. show that viscothemoelasticity a promising criterion analyzing nanostructures, considering small size effects.
